Primary School

Hey, how much do we remember about Primary (Elementary) school. Not much really. Grades 1-3 at the Payneham Primary School on Payneham Road, and then across to the brand new "Payneham Demonstration School" on Briar Road. Great playing fields, so I can remember a couple of years of cricket, but I reckon we played footy at Payneham Oval.

Friday's were great in grade 7 - mornings at East Adelaide Primary for woodwork, afternoons for school sport (footy or cricket). All on the bike of course.

First taste of school uniform...fresh milk at morning recess...sandwiches from home for lunch...Mr McDonald was headmaster...Mr Hillier grade 7...
